My Story <3
Dear reader,
Growing up in a matriarchal family I’ve seen women do a fabulous job curating celebrations, raising families, and juggling more things at once than I can count on one hand.
These are women that have never done so at the expense of their femininity and dedication to self - I even have one Aunt who refuses to take a photo without her red lipstick and a grandmother who I can spend days going through all her perfumes and lotions to see which one might be my favorite.
Beauty and wellness is woven into my identity and so I got a license in the wellness field and have been building my industry expertise since 2022.
Another passion women into my identity is gardening. Again, this is a passion passed down from the women in my family. My great grandmother was notorious for her green thumb.
For a long time I would wonder why my great grandmother, Grandma Dade, would go through all this trouble to play in some dirt, but throughout the years I’ve noticed the emotional and cultural gift that a beautiful garden brings to the world. When my grandmother on my Father’s side was sick, the plant on her windowsill is the only thing she would respond to - this proves that the value of plants are greater than their ornamental or environmental value.
My passion is to bring that value to everyone.
Love,
Ken
